I'm using the beige all weather bmw mats, like pictured above........those and the bmw beige carpet mats came with my car....but the carpet ones being beige get dirty too quick, so thats why I switched over to the all weather. I may get some black carpet mats just so it hides the dirt better. Also using the black cargo liner as well.....love it

Do they have clips to hold the mats in place? In my E39 on the drivers side, the mat keeps getting pushed forward and covers over like half the accelerator and it just feels really annoying.

Hey everyone.,

I usually use cheap mats to cover my good ones, but was just wondering if I should just replace my current mats with the all-weather ones?

they look pretty decent, but I didn't want to cheapen the look of my car.

Do any of you use them in the summer as well?
It all depends on were you live.
If it rains alot and snow then I would use them.
But if it like HK that is dry most of the time and never snows, I just do what you do put other cheap 1s to cover the good 1s.
not a big fan on the all weather mats, they do make the car look cheap.
But if I was in UK then I would use them, with the bad weather all year round need some good all weather mate

Yes...there are little finger clips that anchor to the floor and poke up through the mats that hold it in place

the bmw rubber mats look great and have very low maintenance
The bad news ... they will slow your Bimmer down.

I have them as a practical matter during the rainy, cold months. They'll be coming out in a few weeks to be replaced by the black carpeted ones. My interior is black and so are the mats. They're the OEM grooved ones from the dealership. They serve a purpose. I don't think they cheapen the look of your car. They're like snow tires--some places you need them, some places you don't. 2 cents.
+1 I have ones with the ovals and the carpet heel pad for the parts of the year that require them. They are a pain to clean though. I put my summer wheels on this weekend and will change out the mats soon too.

I have the same ones that CWS530 posted in my XI wagon. They fit great! I primarily bought them for the rainy season and going to Tahoe, but I like them so much I plan on keeping them in all year round because they're just easy to clean and I don't have to worry about getting my interior dirty.

I initially thought the large lip on the edge of the mat is goofy, but I never thought how useful they are in containing melted snow when you get in and out of the car w/ snow and slush in Tahoe.

I have a mat in the cargo area of the wagon and clean up is as simple as taking it out and shaking it!

Living in MI, the all weather mats are a necessity (especially with a gray interior and gray carpeting). I bought the all weather set from WeatherTech http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp.aspx

One of my partners purchased the digital fit. I may roll with the digital fit and try to sell my existing all weather mats.

i think it is like putting plastic on your sofa. practical... yes, but it looks silly.
TFF! I always loved that....it was your parents way of saying WE cannot sit on these, and we're keeping them pristine for the NEXT owners of this sofa!!
