Hello;
I had all the faults come up such as ABS, brakes, engine and on the screen was transmission mailfunction. I towed the car to BMW dealear and found the battery very low and no information can be displayed on the screen. They replaced the battery but still all faults come up and no information shown on the idrive screen. Any suggestions and help are apprecaited.
Thanks to all

Need to pull or have pulled the BMW specific error codes with a scanner that will pull BMW specific codes. The code readers AutoZone, AdvancedAuto and similar auto parts store only have/use generic code readers. Absent the BMW specific error codes, everyone would be guessing.
Why didn't you have the BMW dealer pull the codes and provide them to you?

Take it back to the dealer. You paid to have it done and it was only half done. They should of replaced the battery, registered then cleared faults. After they usually take it on a short drive to make sure the codes stay gone.

Might be an issue with the alternator, have that checked or do it yourself.
Simply measuring voltage while the car is running should be sufficient to discover major alternator faults.

It was the alternator which killed the battery completely too. Good news is the car is runs good now.
Other question the car is 85K miles - any suggestions or advice what should I change to avoid surprising issues. Thanks
