Hmm, how come the Firestones here can all do alignments on our cars but the ones local to you can't? You'd think with a chain tools and processes would be the same.
i can only agree with an alignment as mentioned above, and i have this observation >>> the right rear camber is good for longer tire wear, but the left rear is not (at all) as it will wear much faster. if you're paying money to correct condition(s) with alignment, then i would use a shop that will accomodate any issues.
@Best1 Just curious, does your Firestone store use the BMW specified counterweight in the car when doing an alignment?
Does that mean that we should have BMW Stealer do our BMW alignment ???
I'm leaning toward Firestone to have them do mine soon.
Thanks,

I go to Firestone every 3-4 months since I have purchased the lifetime warranty. Many members take it there as well. Perhaps the alignment procedure differs if you have active steering(?) I recall reading that somewhere, but others can chime in and clarify that.
Definitely happy with Firestone's service and its lifetime warranty price I paid of $169. Would recommend to others as well. All our family cars have the lifetime deal. Well worth it if you plan on keeping the car for sometime.

The Firestone store does not use the counter weight here. 200 pounds sand bag in the drivers seat and 50 pounds in the trunk, if I recall that is correct. I will take it to an independant and get it done when I have time.
