Alarming confirmation beep?
My has it but, i like to turn off the beep. The beep of the bimmer is too loud (I think).
Believe it or not, I like the beep of my friend toyota. So quiet.
Come'to think about, I wish i could control the volume of that beep.

When I lock the doors, it gives a beep, but if you walk a few feet from the car you can barely hear it. It doesn't bother me, but I wish it was a little louder.

On US cars, in iDrive, you can select beep and/or flash for lock, and beep and/or flash for unlock. This is the first car I've owned where I activated the beeping--on previous cars the beep was too loud, but the BMW beep is loud enough to hear it, but not obnoxiously loud.

I agree with Stream, I find the beep to be on target. The lights assist when I am at some distance from the vehicle.
I wish i could agree with you all but for my ears, it is a bit too loud. That is the reason why i always deactivate the beep.
But then again who am to talk about beep and sound. I am the same person who think the regular hifi is loud enough..no need for logi-7.
Hey..dont blame me, it is an age thing. When you reach 41, you will understand

I have the beep on for locking though so I know I've locked the car.
