ALARM KEEPS GOING OFF ON 545i

Hi Guys, my 2005 545i sport 6 speed developed this problem. Several minutes after locking the car and arming the alarm it goes off and starts beeping and flashing like something set it off, but there is no reason for that. It just does it on its own. I had the dealer put new software on all modules last week but the problem did not go away. Anyone know about it? thanks

have you tried inserting the key into the door lock and turn it. That usually disables the stock alarm on most cars.

I had the same problem on my 545i when I bought in 2006 with about 22K miles on it. The alarm would just go off by itself sometimes an hour or more after I parked. My car was in front end accident and the hood was replaced before I bought it. So question is has your hood been worked on or replaced? I Took mine to the dealer and they replaced the hood switch. (under warranty then so do not know how much it cost) no more problems since. well, with the switch that is..... wish I could say the same for the rest of the car OMFG !
