Alarm going off when trunk opened

My Ride: 09 535i Xdrive

Stangely my alarm has gone off when I unlock the doors with my remote(comfort access) and then press the trunk release and hold for it to open the trunk.I know that the alarm can be activated by pressing and holding the trunk opener signal, but this happens when I just press it long enough to attempt to unlock the trunk.Have others had this problem?

Yeah, it's always a game for me. I'd say 1 in 10 times I open attempt to open the trunk, I hold it too long and it sets of the panic mode. And it seems like it ALWAYS happens in a crowded parking lot. People must think, "Look at this noob, must be driving his parents' car".

On my 2007 it is a 2-click sort of process. Any attempt to "hold" until it opens will likely result in the alarm.
