It was a deffective sensor, which they changed and all is well
Sensors and regulators (A/C) seems to be the normal problems, as in my two cases.

Nevertheless, it sucks to without bags and/or A/C or...

Since Australia is on the other side of the Tellus globe,
they must drive from the backseat and in reverse

I had similar problem with passenger air back though. Two weeks after I took delivery of my 04 525i this warning message came up. Was fixed by software upgrade. Btw, I've noticed that you are in Finland, but your iDrive is in English.

Thanks
Serge.

Serge.
Finnish or Swedish are not available for the iDrive, nor are they for the www.e60.net

I'm curious why? Does not worth the effort developing UI in Swedish or Finish?
What about Norwegian or Danish?

Btw, I was in Finland last October...loved it!!! However, Ice Bar was pretty cold

The Ice Bar is a, litterally Icy Bar, but the women are usually very warm overhere...
But I hope you visited a lot of other bars and clubs as well?

Did you come for business or pleasure, or both?

There's a lot of languages that are missing from the iDrive.
I can only choose from German or English.

I suppose almost everyone, at least in the Nordic countries, speak English that well,
that no translation is needed.

But what about French, Spanish, Chinese etc. widely spoken languages?

It was a personal trip, no business. Would like to go and spend a week there during summer. Finland is probably the best place on earth for fishing, camping and just relaxing staying somewhere in the cabin. And of course saunas

I went to several bars and night clubs. Staying at Scandic Grand marina Hotel. Loved the market (by the pier) that was within walking distance from hotel.

I think I can change my iDrive language settings to French or Spanish.

My car reported "Passenger side air bag or seat belt restraint malfunction" today. I am debating about taking the car back for service since, I have a Carbon Black 550i on order and it should be delivered in two weeks.
My car is now reporting this same problem. So is it a sensor, reprogramming, both?

Change of a part, the sensor, and then reprogramming.

Get the newest CIP or Progman version at the same time.
