Default Airbag Light ON code 964A HELP!!

So my drivers door panel was loose i replaced 3 clips, not that my is nice and tight the airbag light is on, i did not disconnect the airbag in anyway, went to a shop got it rested and everything was fine until the next time i turned on the car the light cameback on, "964A reads the the resistance is too high" assuming meaning that the airbag is receiving too much electricity but what am i supposed to replace guys? the airbag itself? or the harness? we tested the battery the battery is very good! HELP!! That light is annoying me!!

"resistance is too high" does not mean too much electricity. Probably some airbag connector got dislodged or partially undone.

What do you suggest to be done?

I'd take the trim piece off again and look for anything out of the ordinary. I wouldn't unplug or replug any airbag electricals unless the battery is disconnected for at least a couple minutes.

Like TWH said first disconnect the battery and have another look there in door, if resistance is too high voltage would likely be too low

Thanks for the input guys,Most likely I'll get to the airbag issue next weekend I was messing with a/c it went out Friday I pull up to my mechanic shop and the bastard starts blowing icicles today I use the e60 to a friends house and my whole body was sweating... A full charged system fans working just not blowing no cold air I've done my research seems like a clog in the expansion valve possibly

When I had this issue several years back it turned out to be the front crash sensors under the front bumper cover. I replaced both sides and cleared codes and it was gone. The service bulletin says to remove the front bumper cover but I recall that that wasn't necessary.
