Hi all,
Got my air conditioning system regassed yesterday in the hope that it would bring it back to life. Once done, the technician told me only a little fluid was missing. Testing the AC again, it was prety much the same. He said this is as good as it gets for some reason (couldnt explain why) although he has ragassed lots of other bmws and they were freezing cold.
Anyone else have this issue ? Can it be improved ?
Also, another thing I am noticing is that it stick to AC even after you press the off button. I have to sometimes press it 3-4 times before it stays off. Button is not sticky or anything, just seems like it has a mind of its own sometimes.
thanks

dR.jonezz: How can I switch between auto and manual ?
BLooD: Think it's basic. Got 3 switches that control the direction, speed of fan and temperature.
It's a 2005 e60.
I have tried changing it from warm to cold in the climate section in iDrive - no change unfortunately.
Thanks guys

Press that AUTO putton off just like in this picture and then hit the above putton. Then it should stay away.
But i dont know what's wrong when you've adjusted the car to blow cold air and it's not doing it..
Are you sure youve have the idrive and those puttons all at setted as cold ?

Thats the advanced AC, he has the basic system like mine. Goto climate menu and check the temp setting. Press the auto butyon or turn fan speef knob to off auto mode.

Some thing not right there, I would get a diagnostic done on it, where do you live? I have diagnostic software and could run a check on it if your local.
