Thats weird.
I am currently in Scottsdale, Arizona. Temps have been above 110 for the past week.
My air is ICE cold and on max the car cools down in minutes.

I have found that the system in my E60 is slow to cool down, I don't think it's a problem, my 528i did that same thing.
What I wish for is remote starter so I can cool the thing off before I even get into it..but I don't think that is a possibility

I'm so frustrated with my AC, its brutal. I'm thinking of taking the car into a shop by my house to see whats up, maybe a bad compressor??? I have to do something though

mine works fine here in southern cali. i did have to dink around with the i-drive settings for the auto program and the vent settings. it gets cold enough. sometimes having the vents open versus closed helps, sometimes not.

My outside temp read 105 today. I selected the Max button and the A/C began to blow cool air within 60 secs and the interior cooled off in about 5 - 7 mins. I did not notice any temp difference between the left and right center vents and the temp was set at 74 on both sides. If your A/C is not performing similarly, it's obvious there's an issue that needs to be diagnosed by an experienced automotive A/C mechanic which may or may not be found at the dealership.
