Hi guys, I own a 2005 530i. My problem just started last week where the air-conditioner would not go off even when I press the off button. If I press the 'OFF' button on the fan speed knob, the lights usually changes to orange to indicate the system is off, but when I do it now, it just flickers to orange and then turn to green again. Can anyone help me? It does go off when I pull out the key. Its not so critical as it will not turn off at all.

With out sounding like an ass, your car is still under warranty, just take it to the dealer.

I had the same problem - aircond does not switch off after pressing the off button. Took the car to dealer and they replaced the whole air-cond control panel under warranty.

Mine does that as well but I've noticed that if I slightly push the button, it does turn off. Is there a service bulletin for this?

Reminds me of the good old E39 days, where I needed a new AC control panel every year...

I guess we will always have problems with anything related to our cars computer. Dealership will fix one problem related to electronics/computer and another problem pops up.

I just had my radio problem (radio cutting off) fixed by my dealer and I am crossing my finger that no other problems will pop up since they reprogrammed my car computer.
