ill say it again, if there is a DUCT/TUBE that runs directly from the front air dam to the actual brake rotors/calipers, then yes I would do it. If there is no plumbing like this, then no. If you want the holes opend up for looks only, then go for it, its your car ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

This is what I was trying to convey with my first post.... Apparently he is just dead set that they should be there, though since his car is in the middle east , BMW is known for up grading the breaking systems in hot weather locations, but I'm not really going out on a limb here in saying that that I bet there is no ducting to the breaks, like on the Bigger engined cars. Many cars have the excess wholes that are not needed for cooling closed up. The wholes are covered up to prevent Drag, thus using more fuel. Look at f1 cars to get an Idea of how it works, If drag was not an issue with Aero at higher speeds you would see huge ducts for engine an tyranny cooling , instead since it dues you see NACA ducting and louver that try and extract the heat away with as little drag as possible.

You could take the under tray off , and have a look from under the car, or remove a front rim/wheel, and do the same thing with the wheel well cover/ trim since that would be where the duct would come out.....

UPDATE !!!!
So i got a Big YEEEEY for remvoing the trim. And guess, what? as i suspected, THERE IS AN AIR DUCT
THEN GOT THE NAYYYYYYY  at the end of the air duct, guess wht.yes, its has also a flap that is closed. at this level, im starting to think that it is ment to be closed. but what is the difference between a 520 and a 525.Same body, same chassis, EVERYTHING IS THE SAME EXCEPT FOR THE ENGINE. so why should the 525 have an open air duct, and mine closed?
So experts, can you chime in on this one.Coz now it doesnt make any sense.
