Hey guys, I just installed the M5 mirrors, so I had to remove the door panels, after putting everything back together, I'm now getting airbag msg for left/right front airs? I checked the installation and everything was plunged in correctly... not sure why its coming on...?

Well, did you unplug the airbag wires without disconnecting the battery first? If so, they're going to stay on until you turn it off with BMW diagnostic equipment. So if you have a friend you're lucky. If not, you can ask your dealer how much they charge or find an Indy.

+1, should have disconnected battery first. You gotta find someone with diagnostic equipment, or purchase cable + software online, or visit indy/dealer.

Humm.

I never unplugged the battery since I was lazy. I figured I could just clear the codes if I needed to.

Of the so many times I have taken the doors apart (my own and others), I have never disconnected the battery. Has always been fine.

Obviously your solution right now is to get the codes cleared, but definitely recheck the connections.
