I'm a first time buyer of bmw, and am new to this forum. This is my first post. I have done some research while I'm searching for a used bmw 5 series, and came across this 06 530i cpo, SMG, with 47kmiles, and an asking price of $31.9k at a local dealer. Other optioins include Cold Weather Package Premium Package Premium Sound Package Sport Package Xenon headlights Navigation system BMW Assist w/Bluetooth System. I have never learned how to drive a manual car, but based on the posts here, I think I'm very interested in SMG (although my wife may hate it initially). Is this mileage too high for SMG? Is there anything special I need to look out for? How about the price? I've noticed that with the same price, probably I can get a 07 525i with much lower mileage. Is SMG expensive to maintain and prone to be unreliable? Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

there are some very nice deals out there..... I was at Long Beach BMW and saw an 07 550i for $31,900 with 49k miles.... and theres another member here selling an 06 550i with low miles!! here's the link! check it out. this car looks AWESOME!!!! GL with your search!!
