Thumbs up

Just got advanced voice control retrofitted.

Unfortunatelly I forgot to specify the language, and I got the default here (spanish). I-drive was in english, but they didn't notice it.

Can the language be easily changed by the dealer, or a new voice processor module is necessary (I hope not...)?

Cheers,

Well if that is my choice (male english vs female spanish) I'd rather stay with my spanish girl

Problem is that wife is not happy with BMW choice of in-car assistants, and having a new one added to the already familiar navi girl has not improved things

On the funny side, driving with the navi english girl on, while playing some voice commands with the spanish girl, and why not, with our local french FM station tunned, gives the feeling of driving through Babylon

Heck..I'd be happy if voice command could understand plain english. The voice command is absolutely horrible.

Yep. They say not enough E60's are sold to make it worth a software localization (the printed manuals are in portuguese of course).
