Is it touch screen only? I can see how it would work in the E46, but the screen is so far away in the E60 it would not be very user friendly.

The M5oard/Bimmerforum has been tracking the evolution of the Dynavin for years. Make sure it will work with your amp./stereo set up.

One thing about the OEM CCC Nav - it's definately not the most intuitive system for searching POI's. If you have an address ready, no problem. But name searches require selecting a catagory. Choose wrong and you are left with empty results. I haven't found a way to get it to 'search everything' - just enter a name and it would return results of that name. Is there a way to do this?

Yep, the OEM CCC is HORRIBLE. I don't even use it, I usually just use my phone if I need navigate or find a place. My 2001 Acura was much more user friendly.
