Jep better to start kicking because it is so
BTW you can use the auto function, all you have to do is go to idrive and there is an setting to control the auto function.
You can disable day lights so when you switch to auto you allways have lights on

And jrsamps if you have adaptive lights you might have an problem....
It is easy to check at the dark example against a wall... both lights should turn to passanger side even when not moving.

Here is an borrowed picture from another post.

The manual is over 200 pages long!!! I can't even remember the last BW I read. As far as the auto function - when I want the lights on I will turn them on. And I don't have the daytime running lamp option in iDrive. I have the triple signal though.

Yeah, so? It has a nice, comprehensive and alphabetically ordered index. Sorry, but you get no sympathy at all.

On mine, I have only noticed that the one headlight is higher than the other.

I was just wondering if the headlight that is higher than the other the passenger side? If so, this is suppose to be normal according to BMW. Anyone else notice that on their car?

1) frmo the previous picture.. how did you get the daytime running lamp feature? I have the 06 530xi and I don't see it on my Idrive screen... bummer!

2) the right light being higher than the left is normal.. My acura TL explains this aswell...and is just the same.

3) At 23 Mph my lights swivel left *and* right... the way it works from my observation is... turning right.. the left lamp moves towards the right.. it nearly meets the right lamp, and then the right lamp moves further to the right turning left.. the right lamp moves to the left lamp, then the left lamp moves further left.
