Hi Erik, you are exactly right in what you say, I checked the lights don't move sideways as you say. With regards to the cable from amazon, I would have no idea how to go about using that so I think I will stick to Carly for now and see what they come up with. I will post the outcome. Thanks Paneuro.

Hi guys, I got the reply from Carly and printed it of. I then followed the instructions to code the fog lights for cornering. I got the message that my fog lights had been successfully coded. I then tried them but they did not work, so I have decided to abandon the idea and use the switch when I need the lights. I would like to thank everybody who gave me advice it was much appreciated. thanks Paneuro.

I was in my car today in idle and turned the wheel side to side I could not see the lights aiming from inside the car.
Also, I assumed you had Xenons.
I thought only Xenons aim side-to-side so you don't blind the shiz out of oncoming traffic while in turns.

You are right I do not have Xenons, I was misled by the tyres moving the front of the car when I was turning the wheel from side to side. It was said that the lights did not move very much and really you had to get someone to turn the wheel and stand in front of the car to see the movement. I have since did this and they do not move.
thanks Paneuro.

Did you have the light switch "ON" or on "A"?

My 2005 545 non-LCI has the adaptive Zenon headlights and they go up & down at start-up in the auto setting. Never really checked if they moved from left to right and back at car immobile position, but I do know that they do work while driving. Also, it appears that the down road aim varies with speed. Very effective headlights, indeed.
