Did you have it in 1st gear if not it's not going to work. Put you clutch in and put it in gear. Keep the clutch in. Then turn the wheel. It's not as noticeable as going up and down. It moves ever so slightly. You have to look at the center of the projected light. If you don't have halogen low beam bulbs you have adaptive lights. Also if your not having the blinking green light then your system is good.

Hi guys, the vin number is CT99157 , I assume you only need the last 7 digits? I will try putting it in gear later when it gets dark. thanks Paneuro,

My headlights cycle up/down then left/right whenever I start the car.
Adaptive function only works when the headlight switch is in "Auto" position. In the "ON" position the lights stay pointed straight ahead regardless of steering wheel position. They self-level regardless of switch position.

Well, after 4years owning this car I have discovered I have adaptive headlights after all, I wonder what else I don't know about? Maybe the guys on here will give me some idea from my vin number! I must say i'm chuffed as little apples with my adaptive headlights. A special thanks to Audiophool for the info about the switch position. thanks Paneuro

Hi, now that I have discovered my adaptive headlights can the fog lights be coded in to come on separately depending on which way you are turning? I have noticed this is quite common now on cars. thanks Paneuro.

Hi Sean, had a look and that's way over my head, I have no idea what 90% of that means, I would probably do more damage than good but Thanks anyway. Paneuro.

If you don't know much about coding there's not too much you can change on the car. It's an easy thing to learn on these cars but you don't want to test your skills unless you fully understand it.
