on my idrive meniu i have check the flash when loked


check the flash when unloked...

check acustic signal when loked...

i washmy car and now it dose not make any sound when loked ...and do not flash.(one time for loked).....but still make flash(twice for unloked)...still no acustic sound?!?!?!?

what could happen>?

Maybe a stupid question but are you using the same key?

I think each key has a seperate profile.

So am I correct in assuming that no matter what you select, you can't get the car to make any sound? If so, maybe something is wrong with the part that actually makes the sound?

Once in a while, my car doesn't make the sound when locking or unlocking but it is quite rare so I figured it's one of those software issues that is not worth complaining about. In your case, it may be software or it may be hardware.

Do you have the alarm system? I'm not sure right now but I think the alarm and the audible lock/unlock sound is produced by the same device. If you have the alarm, does it make any sound if you set it off?
