Not sure if this is Active steering related, I have on at least three occasions while doing a right handed u-turn (i have right hand drive car) at certain wheel angle while completing the turn, i sense the wheels resonated at fix frequency.
The wheel resonance was like what you might feel going through regulated closely spaced bumps or grids on the road. "Brrrrrr"

Initially i thought it might be the patch of road the wheels went through, lately I started noticing it might not be the road.

Have anybody out there came across this?

I haven't experienced the resonance yet and I hope I don't either but will keep an eye on it.

I do sometimes feel the active steering is not working but I think its my imagination as no warning messages appear in the I-Drive etc.

I don't have the problem of resonance, but do have the same feeling w/ BMW530, which sometimes I can feel the AS seems to react as quick as the other days.

hi toto, under normal driving, straight or curve road, i don't feel it, it mainly happen during moderate u-turn and at certain angle it "brrrrrrrrr" and it felt exactly like going through the "textured" whilte line marking the shoulder of CTE.

strange!
