I found a substantial difference of the tightness of the steering wheel between my 2005 545i sports and a 328i loaner car. My car's steering wheel was much looser (like Lexus') when I drove it at low speed. Is it pretty normal with active steering? Thank you.

 

sounds normal, the 328 has no active steering, so the wheel feels alot heavier, you feel more of the road with it...
