To be honest it was one of the main reasons why I bought mine. At the time it was the only car that had the mix of comfort, looks, sportiness and technology! (And IMHO still has!)

After having to drive my GS400 now while my 545i is getting worked on I can reliably say that anything without AS does feel like driving a dump truck to me. Incredible feature.
