Just curious if anyone else has done this test on their 545 6 speed.
I timed my car from 2000 - 5000 rpm in 3rd gear. I shifted into 3rd and floored it at 1500 rpm, and started the stopwatch when I hit 2000. I stopped the watch at 5000rpm. Full tank of gas, only me in the car. My times on what appeared to be a flat run (but evidently had a slight slope or wind) were:
One direction: 8.6,8.6,8.6,8.5
Other direction: 9.1,9.0,9.1,9.0
These were done on two different days, temperatures 59 and 46 deg F.
Anyone else have any results?
