I just discovered something today:
When I start my car, turn key to position 1, wait about 5 secs, the 'accept' screen on the I-drive disappears and the main menu appears!?
?
Go on and start the car, the lawyer screen doesn't come back!
Now, I don't know whether this is a software update (coz they updated my software about 3 wks ago) or it's just something I didn't try before
I know this may take longer than just to 'accept' the msg, but then it's another option!

Do you mean you have to wait 5 seconds in position 1 everytime you start the car?
Hardly seems worth it for me. I'm one of those people that when I get in the car I want to take off right away. I'd rather push the accept button than wait 5 seconds to turn the key. Pushing it only takes less than half a second, no big deal. Just my .02
But thanks for the info

OMG I hate the accept screen but I cannot imagine having to wait 10-15 sec rather than have the option of clicking it off in 0.5 sec. My Sirius kicks in about 1-2 sec after clicking the accept, soothing the tension created by the accept screen.

The 'accept screen' is about as daft as the warning in my camera manual - "when adjusting the viewfinder dioptre setting be careful not to poke your finger in your eye".
