hi i need some help wiring for the acceleration sensors located on the front frame. there are 2 acceleration sensors. one one the left side and one on the right side. the right side was cut and didnt have the plug that connects to the acceleration sensor. i bought the plug now and i need to know which color goes to which wire. any help will be appreciated.

 

are those for the airbag system?

 

i think they would be. thats why i dont want to guess and test the wires i dont want a blown airbag :thumbsdown:

 

so i assume the plug colors dont match your current wiring? what colors do you have?

 

ok i have the plug wires as white with brown stripes. a full white wire. and a bear stranded wire.

the wires coming from the car are a white with red stripe. a white with green stripe and a bear stranded wire.

 

Connect the plug's white with brown stripe to the car's white with green stripe.
Connect the plug's white with the car's white with red stripe.
Bare wire to bare wire.
Sounds like you have a left plug and a right sensor.

sounds correct my good friend. the plug does belong to the right sensor. MUCH thanks to you my friend.
