ACC failure
About a month go, I had an active cruise control failure message.
(actually the error message is "ACC failure. Keep your distance" which I've found funny thinking that some nice BMW engineer wanted to remind me not to hit the front car)
The dealer solved it at the time, and guess what I've just read today... yes, yes, I was reminded again not to hit the front car because ACC was down.
ACC was one the features I was most unsure, mainly because I doubted the computer ability to replace the driver decisions about the use of brakes (it does a good job with sparse traffic, not so good on more dense roads).
All I can say now is that the MTBF of this module is lousy. Let's hope they sort it out permanently.
Cheers.
