My Ride: BMW E-60 530I
It was a very hot day with a hot date but kinds of embarassing(driving a $50K car with an ac not working properly) because no matter what I did the AC was not cold enough and was making both of us sweat like crazy Later on I discovered that you actually have to go to climate setting and adjust it to cool otherwise even with AC on it will keep the air warm. Well today I tried my A/C again and the passenger side seems to work great but the driver side still is blowing warmish air. Are there any other settings I need to adjust so I don?t sweat and she doesnt think that she is making me nervous.
Any help would be appreciated

This is the perfect opportunity to say something to her like "if it is too hot, you can take your shirt off...it won't offend me".

Did you press the MAX * "snowflake" button? I've never needed that, but it should put the system into max cold mode...just guessing. If it doesn't get cold on MAX *, then I'm guessing you have a problem with your system.
Also, look at the setting for Automatic Programs in the Climate section of iDrive. Should be three settings. Try raising if not already at highest. Mine is on Medium and I am satisfied with performance.
I've never fooled with the Vent Settings as is often recommended. Just the Automatic Program setting.

I've never heard a guy complain about getting blown while on a date with a hot girl before!

hahahaha good one guys... But I guess my dilemma is that the passenger side is working great, driver side is not... I know we have dual climate on our cars but doesn?t the car only have single a/c (compressor, condenser, etc)

I'm about to investigate it today, but I think, there is an offset setting for each side, you can adjust it by coding.
