Default 550i obd2 question.

so I put away my 2010 550i away for the winter and its been extremly cold this winter in boston i only drive it up and down between the 5 floors in the parking garage every 3 days.. the other day I went to turn it on and it ran slightly rough and triggered a check engine light,I then turned it off and back on 10 min later and it ran ok but the light was still on so I took it out for a drive and put fresh fuel in it *premium of course* and it continued to run normal since since then....a week after i took it out and c.e.l was still on but yest. when i turned it on the light was out.... Im put the scan tool *generic* on to it it showed up as a misfire code but the light was out. and couldnt delete it....do you think im gonna have a prob. passing inspection even though the light is out? thanx ahead!

Had a problem with some "bad" fuel a while back that triggered the "check engine" light. The light eventually went out after some fuel treatment and a couple of batches of good gas. The car's run like a champ since. No light, no problem.
