Does anyone have any thoughts on what maintenance items I should carry out above the items shown in the idrive on my 2005 UK spec 550i SE auto touring.

BMW don't seem to want to share their thoughts on higher mileage maintenance. My thoughts were that that auto-box might be due an oil change, and that the timing chains on the engine might need checking for wear.

Things like suspension bushings and possibly engine mounts might start to be getting a little 'baggy' to, but at least those will show up as clunks and looseness in the handling.

All thoughts/experience appreciated.
