Is anyone tried a hard driving involving turn then acceleration, the turn again.....?
So I used tip tronic, so switching gears, but I felt a little delay in the response for braking by engine so I have to use a brake pedal more harder then I remember did on my m3.
Of course it's not M3, but the valvetronic makes it delay. Or I did a test after that, on straight line quick acceleration on third gear, then let go gas pedal and it should be like a nose dive on normal cars, but this car does it the way different, slow or I should say softer.
Please let me know if you have response as my car, or I have a problem.
Its started drives me crazy. Please test yours.

IF you have an automatic transmission BMW I would NOT rely on or encourage braking via down-shifting ... BMW automatics are TOO finicky and TOO expensive to fix when they break ... AND they do break!
That said, most new automatic transmission cars are engineered to recoup energy from lots of sources and I've also found that they disengage more quickly and seem to allow longer 'coasting' time ... must be some energy conservation thing going on??

I might re-phrase I'm looking for time delay after you let go a pedal, the RPM is still at same mark, then it starts dropping down.
So Can you test you car on second gear first at 40-50 mph and then on third at same speed.
You will see on second gear RPM would drop with almost no delay, but third gear gave a longer delay.
Thanks
