Is the 2006 or 2007 545i gonna get the new V8 hence 550i?

If new for 2006 then September 2005 production?

The 5 Litre valvetronic engine is at least 2 years away from production (translation: it will be a 2007 at the earliest) My money is on 2 1/2 years away as an early 2008 model.

Why you ask??!!

Couldn't they just use the 4.8 liter V8 in the X5?

e v8s are pretty new n i dun think they will be replaced so soon

Eeekkk FOR the 5 series??? or a new V8 as in the one for the upcomming M3? Why new? Just use the E39 M5s V8 in the 550

"Sir cancel my order please... I'll wait for the new V8"
