My Ride: 2006 550 SMG
Looks like the average 0-60 time for a 545 from the car mags. is 5.3 secs. Is the 550 going to be around 4.8 secs? Cant beleive no car mags have done any tests on the 550 yet, its been out for 6 months.

BMWs 0-60 time for a 550SMG is 5.4, Because the difference for the for the 545 between BMWs time and the car mags is 0.5, then im guessing the 550SMG is going to be around 4.9.

The SMG system doesn't get that much faster than a professional drivers stick shift time.
I'm with znod here, 550iSMG 0-62 mph could be around 5,2 secs.
Bare in mind that every 0,1 less is quite an improvement at these low times.
Of course changes in the temperature, tires, traction, driven milages and the
small individual changes in engine tuning etc can and will make a small differance...
