I was in manual with sport mode on and DSC fully off. To be a bit more clear as to why the car was going into first, I was making a very tight inside right hand turn while in second gear. I had to break hard to hit the correct apex. So while breaking, the rpms came really far down. Once I was in the track out of the turn and unwinding the wheel, I accellerate with a roll on the throttle past the kick down. So the kick down is only into first. If i had a manual, I could keep the revs in the power band of 2nd gear with a throttle blip during the track in then roll the throttle hard with power and torque left in 2nd.

Nice! You challenged much smaller cars but after all why not use all the advantages of E60 aluminium chassis! I love the 1st picture with the blurred background, sharp car and smoking tires.

You know, we don't hear much about the comfort of the E60s. We frequently drive from Atlanta to Naples and Mrs. sixcard used to never comfortably make it all the way ... we would stay the night in Ocala. But now it's an easy ride for her in the E60.

She can even fard at high spped now!
