545i front tire rub

My Ride: 95 M3 CAI, chipped, pulleys, Xbrace, doesn't give headaches every time I start up!
04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!
What would cause tire rub on the wheel well insert while turning and running over a small height transition in the road. Not traveling at excess speed either!
Stock sport suspension and tires, 100K on the car. Would warn thrust rods contribute to this?

Exactly, If it happens enough it will wear a hole in the wheel well cover! Any procedures out there on replacing the front struts on the sport suspension? I've replaced them on my e36 M3, is there any differences? Any strut recommendations?
