I have a 2005 545I with 172,000 miles. I took her in for the recall and was expecting BMW to give me a large estimate on repairs I thought were needed. To my surprise they told me the car had no problems and was in great shape. I the last month alone I have had transmission malfunction warning, oil pressure warning and batters has been disconnected warning. I thought BMW World Class would ID problems. I read the report the dealer prepared and the mileage was 60,000 miles off like they did a reprint from a previous inspection. I thought all this information should accurate. Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter.

Don't play "I've got a secret." Be upfront with them. Tell them of your suspicions. They would not necessarily scan the codes for the Battery Cable Recall. Your key (CBS) does not store fault codes. What you really wanted was a Vehicle Check.

Before they told me that I needed valve cover gaskets replaced. Now they say no leaks. What does the BMW World Class Inspection mean and shouldn't the mileage on inspection be accurate. Could they have reprinted an earlier inspection.
