Agreed: the real questions are whether you like the lines of the 6 ( 2-door coupe) vs. 5 (4-door sedan) and desire the utility of the larger sedan. The 5 is significantly roomier in rear seat room, sits more upright (comfy, more rear seat headroom), and is less expensive.

That said, I chose the 6 and am very happy with the solution. I like the looks, like the lower Cg and slightly more nimble ride (the 6 is a shorter-wheelbase 5).

If you posted to a 6 Bulletin Board (e.g., roadfly), you'd find lots of happy campers there, as well. And I agree, this is by far the best community that I've found: e60.net ROCKS! A very knowledgeable, unselfish lot. Glad to be a part of it.
