Hi everyone, I have a 2004 545i e60 and recently I got no sound from speakers or the gong for any fault I also do not have cd option on the screen and in the drive it appears to be muted but cannot unmute everything other than sound works (ac control, onboard computer, settings) I have checked the fuses for the amplifier and the cd changer and they are not blown and have good connection
the amplifier has a green and red light where the most connection is
I have already disconnected the battery, disconnected the amplifier, scanned with bimmercode but no mask errors related

 

Seems like you may have a faulty CCC unit, but it should have thrown a code though.

 

Check your TCU. If you unplug it and throw in a loop and it works you know you need to replace it.
