Doors loud when shut? 545i

I have a 04 545i, how can I get that nice thud sound when doors are shut? like the facelifted e60's. All I hear is a loud metal to metal sound every time I shut my doors...just like hondas lol

Maybe those sound deadening mats on the inside of the doors might help - stereo installers use them. I think one of the brand names is ?dynamat? ...

Maybe your doors are not lined up properly... I have an '04 and they thud - no metal on metal sound...

the seals are kind of expensive, I was thinking of a cheap and easy way to solve the problem, lol and its not that bad but doesn't sound like my dads 09 528 which is the one I would prefer
