My Ride: BMW 545iA Black Sapphire
Model Year: 2005
Engine: 545i
Default

Conditions:

- 20 degrees centigrade ( 68F )
- A4 autobahn near Aachen
- medium traffic....couldn't get a 0-260 time in. Next time.
- 2 runs 0-100 ( 0-62mph ) - 2nd run was better.
- 1 high speed run

Conclusion : too easy....get the Vmax speed restriction lifted

Enjoy!!

good job ... 545 is something isn't it.
I know everyone loves the 535D on this forum, but the V8 hits the right notes.

Nice vids--thanks for sharing.

It looks like you're shifting right around the red line, but since the torque curve peaks at 5,900 RPM, I'll bet you could get slightly faster times if you shifted slightly earlier. Want to try and give us a report?

And I want that steering wheel!

Very very nice! Makes me a bit disappointed that my 530xi will not be able to do that. I guess I will just have to keep hot-rodding my toy.

Wow, pretty amazing!

That will leave my 535d look like standing still. Never thought the 545 would be that fast!

According to the video you created pretty much of a bug soup on your windshield, what a way to die being a fly..

Very nice.
What was the chime warning for during the run?
It looked like a small circular icon in the info display on the dash.

And what did u edit the video with to insert the speed and time info?
