what are the performance diffrences between the 2004 545 and 2006 550?
I had read somewhere that the 1/4 mile times were the same.
Thanks

I don't think they are the same, but do a search. And I'm sure plenty of folks will chime in with detailed numbers on the 1/4 mile times. Frankly (my biased opinion as a 2004 545 owner! ) I don't think the difference between the two is something that most people would not really notice in the vast majority of their daily driving experience. Maybe if you got in a race w/ a 545 or some other car you'd want that extra HP, but the increment is relatively small. Just my opinion...

Both cars are fast enough to get you a speeding ticket in no time at all. The timed differences I recall seeing are less than 10% and that would likely not be noticeable except when you are competing. Even then driver, road surface, and weather differences probably play a bigger role than HP & torque. So if you are looking at purchasing one or the other, I would go with the best overall deal.

hmmm... would it be the driver's issue? some react slower then another makes the same result.
