545 non-SP seats.
Hi! I've had my non-SP 545 for about a month now and I'm having hard time trying to find comfortable seating position. I think, that the problem is too short seat and lack of adjustable thigh support. And I'm not even a tall person at 5'8 1/2".
It takes me maybe 15-20 min of driving to make my legs hurt.
As a reference, I know how comfortable BMW Sport seats are- my second car is 2001 330i with SP.
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? And what possibly can be done about it, short of buying SP seat ( I don't even know if it is possible and how much it'll cost me?)
Please, help.

I wish I could offer more help but today, with the miracles of modern medicine, it might be cheaper to have your thighs "adjusted" than to retrofit new seats with a thigh adjustment...

BMW seats, even the comfort seats are a bit firm to begin with -- they should soften up with time though.
Try altering the 'pitch' of the lower seat so that it slopes more front to back & you get more thigh support.
Good luck.

I too have a non-sport 545 with the standard seats, but have never had a problem with them, either in my thighs or my back. All I can suggest is to continue playing with it to find that just right position. I drive mostly around town (15 minutes or less) but have driven to Houston (6 hours) with no discomfort. I am 6' 3", though, maybe the slightly longer legs are helping with the thigh comfort issue though...

BMW seats are always a bit short on the bottom cushion.
Try to move your seat forward a bit, and recline the back cushion. I know it would be a bit uncomfortable at first, but get use to this lay-back driving position, and it should improve your leg suport.
