if you're going to mod the car, the e90 will have many more aftermarket parts available than the e60.

Moving up to the next level is a big part of the equation. The E60 is more of a 'grown-up' vehicle over the E90.
there are lot of yeung people driving the E60
Not just for the old any more.
I 100% go for 535i.

Go with the 5 series you would not regret it. I had a friend that owns a 3 series after he drove my car he was totally in love with my car.

I don?t think that this is the right forum to find answers who would benefit the E90 but personally I would definitely go for the E60 over the E90

My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i Sport Carbon Black Metallic/Cream Beige Manny tranny and other stuff Recently gone, but never forgotten: 2005 Ford Mustang GT (hence the name) Torch Red/Crimson Manny tranny and every option available for that year 2002 Chrysler 300M Special Brilliant Black/Light Taupe/Dark Slate Autostick and goo-gobs of neat features that I will sorely miss

I obviously chose the 5 over the 3, but for just two reasons. 1) They didn't have a 335i Sedan to my specs on the lot. 2) I lust after V8s! And for them to have a 550i... Sport... AND manual transmission??? It was impossible to pass up! I'm not in love with Carbon Black Metallic, but now that I've given it a few coats of Zaino, it's growing on me more.

That is one part of the equation. I find that the E60 is more of a complete package from the factory than the E90.

I know that I will love the E60, I'm just trying to justify the price delta.
