I've never understood the fascination with AWD. First of all the winters in general are warmer now so it dosen't snow as much and secondly if it does do you really think it is that difficult to drive in the snow with RWD? I have driven RWD in the snow since I was 16 years old and never had a problem. Also, when it does snow the snow removal trucks clear the roads anyway rendering your AWD useless again. It just seems that AWD is a fad that became popular with marketing and convincing people that they have to have it.

All the cars I've owned in my driving life except 2 (Audi Quattos) have been RWD, so I completely agree with you! Even when I was driving the Audis, I never realized the benefit of the Quattro system. I know some people swear by AWD and I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm just saying that as a driving enthusiast, I prefer RWD.

so you have a 528i on order in korea and you want a 535 in Canada?
Why not opt for another car or brand? Just curious. I wouldn't want two e60 especially when F10 will be coming out soon.

You are correct. I thought about getting something else in Canada, but the other BMW that I want is way over budget (the M5) and in terms of other brands, nothing else really turns my crank... I'm not into Mercs (no offense to MB owners on this forum) and my 2 stints in Audi Quattros was mediocre. I need a proper 4 seater so Porsche and other 2 seater sports cars are out. I've always wanted the 535i with the M Sport package since it came out, but it isn't available in Korea, so I thought I would get one in Canada.
