Thanks for the response. I asked my dealer to revert the software change. They initially said they could not revert to older software; that they instead only have the ability to install software updates. They are looking into doing a software revert for me.

So it would be interesting to have someone benchmark their 535 (with a dynamometer?) before getting the HPFP fix installed, and then compare results afterwards as well. I think that this would demonstrate what's really going on. Also compare fuel pressure before and after.

Is there a log of software changes that BMW has made to their cars? How can I access this list?
