I have been working on a parts list for some time now and have it just about finalized with prices for all parts needed. *This only applies to an 08 535i rwd* I highlighted on the diagram what parts are being replaced and or needed. The parts not highlighted are either not needed or will be re-used from the car. Following the diagrams will be the parts associated in an ECS shopping cart for part number reference and brand reference. I do have questions and will ask throughout the pictures. TRANSMISSION

What parts would you guys suggest replacing? I did not plan on replacing any parts from one of the diagram. Flywheel will be M-Factory.

 

Driveshaft

The manual driveshaft is 4mm longer than the auto driveshaft. Can I use my auto driveshaft? The bolts were all cross-referenced back to the auto so no bolts needed.

 

Gear Shifter

All Oem with a M5 knob

 

Pedals & Lines & Clutch

I will use 550i clutch for now, but this all depends on how much I can save sourcing parts.

 

Wire Harness

 

Surprised this thread seemed to die. How did this turn out? Having a really hard time finding my unicorn 535i M-Sport 6MT so I've started fielding thoughts of the swap. I'd love to learn from someone else's hard work!
