Default WTB: Manual Transmission and Components for a full 6AT-6MT Conversion

Hey guys,

I am going to do a 3 pedal conversion to my 6AT E61. Ideally I am looking for a 535xi which is being parted out so I can pull all the components needed for the swap, I would also entertain a 535i.

I am aware that the 335i/xi shares the same transmission but other components vary so it would be nice to pluck everything from an E6X in one swoop if possible before heading over to eBay for individual components.

If you have a 535xi/i or know someone who is parting one out, please let me know.

I am located in Southern CA but will also collect from out of state.

Thanks,
Evan

I am now looking for a RWD 6MT transmission from the 335i or 535i.

Pedals, master/slave cylinders, etc will need to be from a 535i or e60 M5. Please contact me if you have anything applicable.

Thanks,
Evan

Just trying to make the most bulletproof drivetrain setup possible. I love the AWD grip but am tired of battling drivetrain issues and driving gingerly to keep my diff from exploding or axles from splintering. Now I have a new foe to battle, traction.

Are you still looking for a manual Trans? I have a 04 545 that I will be selling for a part out or outright buy for someone looking to part it out on there own. I don't really have the time to part out the car. So the latter is really what I'm looking to do.
