As i promised i found a 4,5liter V8...and not just an E60 but a very very nice 6er.

The diesel can keep up with it's petrol brother but only till 150-160km/h, speeds at wich the battle tends to end. Another thing i might want to add is the fact that the diesel kept up surprisingly well. I didn't expect that really. And keeping in mind that the cars are virtually glued till 160km/h that means that they run pretty much the same times (close) on the 1/4.
Ok, so BMW stating that the 645 goes to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and the 535 in 6.5 seconds is wrong?!
Come on, lets cut the crap. The 645 is faster, period. But who gives a sh*t? Really, they are both great cars and discussing which one is faster is useless.
But nice action anyway.

The 645 was an automatic also...so that has to count in a way. And i do agree that till 100km/h the 6 is a hair quicker, maybe 0.smth quicker depending on the run. I'm telling you facts not tales and the man i raced can confirm the outcome.
Lets cut the crap? That's the thing with some of the petrolheads...no respect The 645 is faster at higher speeds and i'm telling you that at least till 140-150 the diesel can keep up.
I'm not here to judge wich car is faster, i was wanted to see the difference between the 2 cuz i knew the v8 is going to be faster but by how much and at what speeds only practice could have said. And the results are the ones showed. What crap? I never said that the diesel was faster...i just said that the remaped one is faster and stil sustain it through pure theory untill i have the evidence.

PS: Do you even understand the concept of under 0.5 seconds?

The crap is the endless and useless discussion about which car is faster. And calling me a petrolhead is much more disrespectful than me questioning the sense and reliability of your test.
And excuse me if i rely more on the test results and figures of BMW than on your figures coming from some kind of test u did with your friend.
Finally for your info. I really don't give a sh*t which one is faster but be realistic man cause it seems that you are more a "dieselhead" than me being a "petrolhead".

Good test! The manual would be quicker still but you have to work the gearbox hard But as you know the 535d is auto only...

OF COURSE it is mate but over in romania the roads are steeper, and gravity pulls twice as hard so the diesel is quicker
