Latest Update in case anyone was wondering (probably not)

Car has been back in for a 2nd New Injector and there is still no change.

Still starts miss-firing from cold (feels like an old chevy V8) when the Temp marker gets to 3 clicks above the 4500rpm line and then starts to fade when it is past the 4500rpm mark. Also noticed violent mis-fire on tick over now and again. But no fault codes AAAAAAAAAAAAR.

Just got it back after being in the dealer for a week and the back brakes are squeeling again.

Bloody getting sick of this !
2 more weeks of this and it will be goodbye BMW and hello Audi A6.

Hi 1st post here, i have a E60 530d with exactly the same problem as you and am taking the car to the garage next week see if they can see any faults.
Exact same, rough when cold, not so much when warm, but still a very slight fluctation when watching the idle hand, also maybe twice a week could be crusing along nicely
and then i feel a miss in the car, when i put my foot down, the miss disappears.
Look forward to the fix, if there is one for yours.
