My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
Who do you use Olli??
Used them a few times over the years and always been more than happy with product and especially service. This is why I never tried DMS, don't need to change what I am happy with.
But again, I have no doubt that DMS is 1st class and have only heard about excellent service, too.

www.e-maps.co.uk Simon is also mobile and comes to you at nominal charge.

What's the catch?
DMS boss just tells me people pay it and they are very busy
Am I comparing like with like?
If so I would rather go with e maps and change the horrible RFT's

Thats not a bad price. My main concern is that will the re-map the car again if BMW service wipe the remap off?? I know this has happened to a few members.
I think DMS do it free of charge but what about e-maps and is it dectable. As most E60's go into quite abit for mainy software and idrive problems, i dont want the remap do get deleted every time.

e maps use the same stuff as DMS for the remap but they were honest enough to say if you look hard enough, any change will be found - but unlikely at a service or a crash investigation (hope not )
DMS answer - no detection?

e-map man was pretty honest about detection. No re map is un detectionable but it requires a lot of investigation which is un- likely. I think there is a nominal ?50 charge to remap from emap but as my E60 is new, I don't anticipate too many software up grades

Correct - they will never find it. But obviously don't ring and ask the question - it will be logged

I presume you're not planning on telling your insurance company?

the nominal charge Simon calls up, is only to cover the travel cost. The map itself will always be reinstated and if you at any point in time wish to, also reset to standard. (now who would wanna do that? Not me)
